I provide counseling to individuals and families where the participants are ages 14 and older

Often times people are unaware that they are struggling with depression. Depression can look like several things, including low motivation, feeling fatigued, eating more or less than usual, or finding less enjoyment from hobbies or friendships than you did before. I can help people explore their deeper thoughts and feelings to get at the root of what might be causing you to feel this way.

 Several things can contribute to anxiety including the Covid pandemic, the increasing cost of living, the constant influx of news media, along with any personal fears you may be experiencing. I love being able to provide people with tangible strategies to manage the overwhelming stimuli in their head and in the world around them.

As a family-systems oriented therapist I have expertise in addressing family conflict with both family-centered sessions as well as through individual exploration. I can help families and individuals with a wide range of family issues, including parent-child conflict and intergeneration patterns of functioning.

I have extensive experience working with both child and adult survivors of trauma, including physical/sexual abuse, neglect, homelessness, domestic violence and human trafficking. I look forward to providing you with a safe space to explore the times you have previously felt unsafe.
